I’m not offering any fix because I’m not worried about the issue. Is this concept hard for you to understand? What about "allowing people to switch their combat styles liberally in 7.0 will create and run the risk of a stealth meta" is so hard for you to understand? It's a future tense for a reason. I don’t even believe in a stealth meta, I’ve never been in a single FP where anyone said, “sorry stealthers only”, idk where you people dreamed this up. Your entire presence in this threat is dismissing valid arguments and concerns by saying we are all "essentially just arguing against ourselves", implying you're the only one in here who can see sense. The reason I'm saying, specifically, that you believe so is because you've proven that's the case. No, I'm voicing my opinion because this is a subreddit to do exactly that. You are also voicing your opinion because YOU believe YOUR opinion outweighs ours as well. And fixing it means severely nerfing stealthers in that aspect of the game. The stealth meta will be an issue if switching is semi-open even on a weekly lockout. You could only address that by severely changing stealth in flashpoints down to the point of it being unusable or everyone having detection, which means operatives, scoundrels, assassins and shadows lose a big part of their identity. I don't want to be told: "but you're doing FPs right now and all three of us are stealthers. But I don't want to play a stealth class ATM. The stealth meta people talk about post-7.0 with easy switching is that everyone will be expected to switch to a stealth class for a FP. So if you get four stealthers in a group right now, they all choose to be a stealther and are probably happy to do it. So unless you get scoundrels and shadows only, you can't stealth through an entire FP. You can only do a stealth meta if four people in your group are stealthers, anyhow. The stealth meta right now is not a big issue at all. If the stealth meta is an issue, then BioWare should address the issue.
